The UNION OF INITIATIVES for EDUCATIONAL ASSEMBLY
invokes the frameworks and aesthetics of early child pedagogy
as model and method for artistic engagement.
The UOIEA is a rubric and archiving project established in 2008 by Anna Craycroft
for her exhibitions, research, and teaching that were exercises in
thinking about art-education, not as a subset of education but about how
art was already an educational practice, and vice versa.
Many people have participated in the UOIEA ventures through presentations,
collaborations, coordinations, and general attendance. The UOIEA continues to expand
